Nikki’s Bio

Born in Utica, New York, Nikki Logan began performing at the age of six years old.  She joined every vocal ensemble that was available to her and sang with her family every chance she got.

When Nikki was fifteen years old she started singing professionally at weddings and private functions. When “Street Kidz” (a band that was playing in her hometown) announced that they were looking for a singer, Nikki jumped on stage and began singing her heart out.  Two weeks later she was on the road traveling with that band as their lead vocalist.

In 1995 Nikki moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.  Since her arrival she has performed at many venues throughout Southern Nevada.  She has also performed in Finland, Poland, Japan & China.

Nikki sings R & B, Funk, Neo-Soul, Disco, Jazz, Blues, Show Tunes & Brazilian Jazz.  She also sings in Portugese and Japanese.  Nikki plays keyboard and writes her own music. In 2005 she sang her original song ‘WALK AWAY” and won first place in the New York International Music Festival for “BEST R & B BAND”.  Later that year she also created an alter ego named,  “SINNAMYN JENKINZ” who sings Funk & Disco, roller skates and has her OWN FANS.  In 2008 Sinnamyn won first prize in a contest for “BEST OLD SCHOOL LOOK”  given by KCEP 88.1, a local Las Vegas radio station.  Later that year  Nikki won a BMA (Black Music Award) for “BEST NEO-SOUL PERFORMER” in Las Vegas.  In 2010 she won her 2nd BMA  for “BEST URBAN SOUL PERFORMER”.     She sang with MICHAEL GRIMM (the 2010 winner of America’s Got Talent) and performed with him on the America’s Got Talent Tour. Nikki & Michael recorded a duet together called “When Something Is Wrong With My Baby” which is on his CD.  In 2011 she won her 3rd BMA for “BEST NEO-SOUL PERFORMER” in Las Vegas.

When asked to describe how she feels when she sings she said, “I feel like I’m doing exactly what I was born to do.  It’s like I’m sharing my voice with people from all over the world and helping them to feel good about themselves and others from the inside out.  I feel like sending a thank you note to each and every person that has ever taken the time to listen to me sing.    I have truly been blessed and I will never take my blessings for granted!”
